I don't think they'd be game for a rental until they see how this philly experiment pans out. Keep Hemsky and hope he returns to being a good player. You're not going to get the value you want out of him. Although if you were, I would think it would be to Nashville.

I don't understand why you value Hemsky as if he is a top 10 guy in the league. Bernier for Hemsky would be a steal for EDM IMO. You can't keep referring to Hemsky as the player he once was at a PPG clip. He's fragile, hurt all the time, and is no longer the go to player here.

As someone said earlier, if you don't get overpayment for him re-sign him. That's likely what you'll have to do because if someone does overpay for him good on Tambellini. I wouldn't give much to get the guy

I value him as a Top 6 forward on the Oilers. Top 10 in the league? No one has said that.

You should just trade Hemsky. Why keep this guy, its time for the new guys to take over.


Or your 1st round pick will be Grigorenko or Filip Forsberg. Sign him to an entry-level deal and put him in the lineup at an 18 year old..
